The Hunter Gatherers grew out of a community project in 2011 to design, develop, and build a gathering place at the Hunter Farm site in the Wedgwood neighborhood of NE Seattle. Recognizing the need to provide some oversight and maintenance while the Hunter Family is back at their farm, a group of NE Seattle volunteers have come together as "the Hunter Gatherers" under the umbrella of Sustainable NE Seattle.
